2012-2013 COACHES
The DeWitt Soccer Club's (DSC) purpose is to promote, encourage, and improve the standard of soccer at all levels in the community and field girls and boys teams in the areas competitive soccer leagues for ages U9 and higher. This year, if there is enough interest, the DSC will field two competitive teams for the U9 though U12 age groups and at least one team for boys and girls at the U13, U14, U16, and U19 level. In order to field teams at each of these age groups, the DSC needs coaching volunteers. To be considered for coaching a team through the DSC, you must meet the following requirements:
· Candidates (18 years or older) must submit an
application/resume
to the DSC by May 27, 2012
· Be willing to submit to a background check through the Michigan Youth Soccer's website through their Risk Management process and provide a copy to the DeWitt Soccer Club
· All DSC coaches are required to have an E License obtained within their first year of coaching
· Have the ability to teach, supervise, advocate and model appropriate behavior, and character traits to young and developing athletes
· Attend a mandatory coaching meeting prior to the tryout process
· Exhibit a willingness to promote, encourage, and improve the standard of soccer at all levels in the DeWitt Community.
Interested applicants will need to return the application via email by May 27, 2012 to
training.

The DeWitt Soccer Club, located in DeWitt, Michigan, is a non-profit organization that was formed in 1990. Its purpose is to promote, encourage, and improve the standard of soccer
at all levels in the community. Members of the Board of
Directors are volunteers, and all funds received are used to defray direct expenses.

Club Accomplishments
Purchased new sound system for the high soccer field.
Purchased lights at high school soccer field.
With financial support from AYSO, plus the cooperation from the DeWitt School Board, the Club has purchased and installed a well to water the playing fields next to the High School parking lot.
Purchased new goals for 8v8 game field.
Purchased new goals for 6v6 game field.
