OLD BUSINESS:

  1. Dee Krause - Treasurer’s Report
    1. Tony Noyola - Golf Outing Report
    2. Matt Williams - CASL Rep
      1. Tony Harris - President/Communications
      2. Mark Kellogg – 4x4 Report
      3. Mark Helinski – AYSO Rep
      4. Tom VanderWoude – Training/Education
      5. Dave Kracko – Fields Report
      6. 1. Dave has completed the DeWitt Community Ed usage form for reserving the fields for practice and the high school.  Dave submitted on Friday, March 16.  It reserves Fuerstenau, Herbison Woods South and West and the High Scholls fields beginning 3/18/07.  This is for AYSO and USSF.

        2.  Dave will schedule with the City for the U13 up games at the Sports Park once a final schedule is available from CASL.

        3.  Reminder to the coachs that there is no practice on the high school 6v6 and 8v8 fields.  AYSO allows practice on the U8 fields but they should also not move over to the game fields.

        4.  Practice times and locations for this Spring remain the same as in the Fall.  If a coach has an issue and requires a change, they can contact me.

        5.  Dave will be lining the 6v6 and 8v8 field sometime after April 1st.  Dave will communicate the time/date and any help would be welcome.

        6.  Dave attended a meeting with the City of DeWitt regarding usage of the Sports Park Field.  We were represented along with the Lacrosse club.  Many issues were discussed including:

        - Scheduling

        - Use of the field and perhaps limiting any practice on the field (games only)

        - Maintenance/Field Condition

There were no decisions made.  City will contact us with future meeting times and dates.

        7.  AYSO has tentatively agreed to provide the restrooms at the high school field again.  DCS would therefore provide the paint per previous years.  Please discuss if there are any objections to this.  Also, an item has been raised if the DSC would purchase paint for lining practice fields.  This requires discussion and if there is anything we need to do with the school grounds if we are to line practice fields.  Dave knows at Herbison Woods, they sometimes line the practice area for what I think is gym class.  Our lines may interfere with this.

      7. Toni Harris – Secretary

      Next meeting tbd.

Motion to adjourn by Mark Helinski.

      Motion seconded by Toni H.

      Motion passes unanimously.
