- CASL rule changes being handed down

- Chuck gave a list to Mark K. for sports park use to discuss with Eppler
- Asking Eppler to provide a bill that we can pay at a specific time
- CASL meeting – coaches verified practice times, minor adjustments,
- Will check with CASL re: final game schedule availability
- Herbison Woods – south field very torn up per Jean Wegenke’s email
- Will get with AYSO teams practicing there, no USSF teams are practicing there

- Still pressed for sponsorships
- Plan on getting applications out and distributed to schools before kids are done
- Design is done
- Timing on distribution

- 4x4 meetings will start in April, to be set up at April DSC meeting
- facilities permit filled out for the weekend of the tournament
- received permission from Terri Raeburn to play on HS field

- plan on wrap up meeting after ’04 tourney to better organize

- Chuck doesn’t know how much Mark will be able to be involved due to time requirements of new job
- Need to find new volunteers to help out – new board member wanted

- 1400 copies of Soccerzone DeWitt Soccer Camp form
- will complete facility use form and turn into Comm Ed.
- Target the week after spring break to distribute

- Spoke with Mark Thomas re: talking about training
- Suggest that Tom go to next AYSO meeting
- CASL is putting on a camp with CA premier coaches and college coaches to run camp (more $$) but similar to SZ DeWitt Soccer Camp
- Angie Schneider - Golf Tournament Report
- Distributed list of those who have sponsored in the past
- Angie sent out letters and started to make phone calls
- Mark K. and Angie set up meeting to get volunteers to help (Lisa Toth, Robin Goodenough)
- Will create new contact list with names and previous donations
- Golf Outing Invitation sent out to schools
- Kirk Sherman took Invitations to golf show
- Tony D’Allesandro ordered and will provide road atlases
- Nancy Zamiera helping with door prizes
- Lots of questions about our fundraising/sponsorship amounts and recognition for same

- Spell out to the board members what help is needed on the day of the outing or before – have a list ready at the next meeting\

B. New Business
Terri Bailey – discussion re: club uniforms
- wants 10% down to place the mock order for uniforms
- next 40% down when the orders are shipped - ~ July 1
- last 50% over the next 3 weeks as people come in to order uniform and number
- $60 – 1 jersey, short, socks, alternate tshirt
- $4 extra pair of socks
- $8 DeWitt socks
- $65 – 2 jerseys, short, socks
- $4 extra pair of socks
- $8 DeWitt socks
- bags and warm ups are optional
- taken under advisement by the club
- if only ordered by a coach rather than the club:
- get discount based on orders of more than 12
- will not have them available on time guaranteed unless reserved early
Starting –04-05 season
U9 – 6v6 – roster = 10/11
U10 – 6v6
U11 – 8v8 – roster = 14
U12 – 8v8
U13 – 11v11 – roster = 18
U14 – 11v11 – roster = 18
Numbers and Names are an issue
- Younger kids may not be an issue
- Numbers and names could be taken care of by BLT’s
- Price from Soccer Locker should be lower
- Suggestion to set uniform guidelines
- I.e. require color combinations (not style)
- Have a logo and club sock required and supplied by Soccer Locker
- CASL – rules will change to no longer requiring two even teams
- Community can decide whether to have 2 even teams or A/B teams
- Chuck will provide materials needed by new coaches (i.e. risk mgmt, E license, team application, player application, coach application)
- Chuck moves to add a U9 division in the CASL league
- Number of teams formed to be determined based on DSC guidelines determined in accordance with CASL rules

- Angie moves to require incoming U9 and U10 teams, selected for the 2004-05 season,
to buy the Adidas Cosmos uniform style from Soccer Locker with soccer club logo and with personal choice as to numbers

- Motion passes unanimously
- Angie strongly suggests that Tony request ACE Graphics, Crown Trophy and
BLT’s to provide pricing for laminated decal (2 sizes), patches and towels including logo of "bustin’ ball" with "DeWitt Soccer Club" and web site – www.dewittsoccerclub.org.
NEW BUSINESS
- Tryouts scheduling for ’04-’05 season
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday – June 15-17
- Chuck will verify whether the U9 and U10 can be scheduled on June 14
