Why do we need a Soccer Club in DeWitt?

For the 2008-2009 season, we have 13 DeWitt teams (8 girls, 5 boys) with approximately 170 players practicing and playing in our area.  With 12 teams playing in CASL and 1 in MCL.  This level of activity will grow as our community grows. Soccer in DeWitt benefits if a group organizes current activities and plans for future expansion. The DeWitt Soccer Club is that group.

What types of activities is the Club involved in?

Field Maintenance, liaison with the various soccer leagues that now exist, working with the high school to upgrade facilities, coordinating fields for games and practices, installation of new fields, upgrading equipment, instructional clinics, and membership picnics, just to name a few.

Where does this take place?

Right here in DeWitt! And you can be part of it! Board of Directors' meetings are held monthly, at the Conference and Banquet Center of Dewitt. The Conference center is located behind the Speedway gas station on US 27, next to the Sleep Inn. Meetings are open to all members and their comments and suggestions are welcomed.

How can I join the DeWitt Soccer Club?

There is no longer an Annual charge. If your child plays soccer you are a member. If you have any questions concerning the Club, please contact us.
